Managing Several Companies: Shared Credits and Usage per Company
If you look after several companies – for example as an IT service provider, MSP or group – you can manage them all from one AutoPhish account and one subscription. Each company keeps its own members, campaigns, reports and settings, while the credits of your plan are shared.
One subscription, several companies
- Every company is attached to the subscription of its billing owner – by default the person who created it.
- All companies of a billing owner draw from one shared credit pool. There is no fixed budget per company.
- How many companies you can create depends on your plan. Settings → Manage Companies shows how many your plan allows and how many you have.
- Members of a company that is paid by someone else see "You are using the subscription of …" and cannot see the payer's billing details.
Add and switch companies
- Go to Settings → Manage Companies and click Add company. The button is shown as long as your plan allows more companies.
- Complete the company setup and verify the company's domain (see "Getting Started: How to set up AutoPhish for your Company").
- Use the company switcher in the header to move between companies. It appears as soon as you belong to two or more companies.
The badges on Manage Companies show your role: Owner, Billing owner, Billed externally and Active for the company you are currently working in. Use Team to invite people per company (see "Manage Users, Roles & Multi‑Company").
See which company used how many credits
As billing owner, go to Settings → Billing → Usage. The section Credit usage by company shows:
- Credits used, Included credits, number of Companies and Campaign runs for the selected Usage period
- A chart Credits per company by spend type
- The table Companies – credits per company split into Email, SMS, QR by email, QR print locations and Security scans, with total, share and number of campaign runs
- The table Spend details – every single charge with date, company, type and credits

Credits reserved for runs that are still in progress are not yet included.
Export for re-billing
Click Export companies (CSV) for one line per company, or Export details (CSV) for every individual charge. You can use these files to re-bill your customers. Each export is recorded in the Audit Log.
Good to know
- The Usage tab is only visible to the billing owner.
- Reports and PDF exports are created per company – switch to the company you want to report on first.
- When you hand over ownership of a company, you can choose Keep billing with me, so the company stays on your subscription.
