Getting Started: How to set up AutoPhish for your Company

After you have created an AutoPhish user account, the dashboard guides you through a series of onboarding steps. This tutorial shows how to complete the first two steps --- Set Up Your Company and Verify Your Domain --- and explains what happens if you use a public email provider such as Gmail.

Log in and open the company setup wizard

Visit https://autophish.io/login and sign in with your AutoPhish credentials. After a successful login you will land on the Dashboard where a checklist highlights the onboarding steps. At this point, usually only step 1 is active.
Click Go to Company Setup. AutoPhish will open a form where you can enter your organisation's details.

Enter company details and complete setup

On the Company Setup page you need to provide basic information about your organisation:

Company name and address -- Use your organisation's legal name and physical address.
Company website and CEO name -- These help AutoPhish personalise phishing simulations.
Email address for domain verification -- This must be an email address on your company's own domain (e.g. admin@yourcompany.com). AutoPhish will send a verification link to this address. Public providers such as gmail.com, yahoo.com and outlook.com cannot be verified; if you use one of these domains the setup will display an error and you will need to provide a company address instead.

Create and Launch a Campaign

1) Start a new campaign

Sign in and go to your Dashboard.
Click ➕ New Campaign in the header.

2) Tone & Style

Enter a Campaign Name.
Choose a Tone (from professional to friendly).
Pick a Test Interval (e.g., one‑time, monthly).
Add Target Email Addresses (comma or newline separated). Use test addresses first.

Click Next.

3) Select a Scenario

Expand a category (e.g., Social Engineering, IT Support, HR).
Select one or more scenarios to include. Base this on the audience, or use the defaults selected by AutoPhish.
Click Next.

4) Generate the Email

AutoPhish generates a tailored phishing email (From, Subject, Body).
Review the preview. If needed, click Generate New Email for another variation.

5) Review & Launch

Review the summary: name, tone, interval, language, targets, and email content.

Invite teammates, manage company roles, transfer ownership, and switch between companies in AutoPhish.

AutoPhish lets teams work together inside one company account, while also supporting multi-company access for consultants, MSPs, and organizations that manage several separate environments. Each company has its own members, campaigns, reports, settings, and audit data. If a user belongs to multiple companies, they can switch between them, but data remains isolated per company.

Who can manage users

User management is available from the company settings area.

Go to: Settings → Manage Companies → Team

From there, authorized users can view team members, invite new users, resend pending invitations, remove members, and transfer company ownership.

Understand roles

AutoPhish uses company-level roles to decide what a user can do inside a specific company.

Owner

The Owner is the primary administrator for a company.

Owners can:

Manage team members
Invite Admins and Users
Remove non-owner members
Transfer ownership to another Admin
Manage company settings and billing-related ownership responsibilities

A company can only have one Owner. The Owner cannot be removed until ownership is transferred to another Admin.

Admin

Admins can manage most company operations.

Admins can:

Invite teammates
Remove non-owner members
View reports and company data

Cancel, Downgrade & Refunds

You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated during the flow.
